United States President Donald Trump declared a negative coronavirus. This was conveyed by the White House doctor, Sean Conley, through a statement on Saturday.

As quoted from Antara on Sunday (3/15/2020), the President on Friday decided to conduct a coronavirus test, which swallowed around 5,800 people worldwide.

The test results were negative, Conley wrote in a memo released by the White House on Saturday Night.

The test was carried out a few days after the previous president was next to a Brazilian official who was proven positive for the coronavirus.

Trump was photographed at his private club in Florida alongside Fabio Wajngarten, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's press aide, during a visit last week. Wajngarten was later stated to have tested positive for the coronavirus.

"A week after dinner with the Brazilian delegation at Mar-a-Lago, the president is still free from symptoms of the disease," Conley's memo said.

"I coordinate every day with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Corona White House Task Force, and we are intensifying the application of all their best practices to reduce exposure and mitigate transmission."

In a US effort to slow the spread of the virus, which disproportionately kills parents, schools and museums are closed, and many workers are asked to work from home to implement "social distance."
COVID-19 has swallowed more than 50 Americans. The virus has infected more than 154,000 people globally and claimed around 5,800 lives since it first appeared in China last December.
